Great for limited space.The material it is made of appear fragile and weak.This unit is bright on the brightest setting.Pros - it is very short/shallow so if you need a low ceiling height fan this works. It's spins, it moves a decent amount of air, it is brightsCons - feels kinda shady for an electrical device. It has a control box that steps down and converts power for the DC motor and LEDs. That box is just kinda loose in the housing so not really confidence inspiring.The fan is not perfectly balanced so it has a bit of vibration which translates so a bit more noise and the light it casts "moves" around.Verdict is...there isn't another option if your ceiling is less than 8 ft tall so suck it up butter cup and buy this overpriced piece of Chinesium. If this had been 50$ I'd have been thrilled. But at this price point you can get a decent ceiling fan as long as you have headroom.I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it if you are looking for a stylish and nice light+ fan fixture.Installation was easy and quick. We followed the step by step instructions. The fan blades are made of a high quality plastic which runs quite. The fan has three speeds and each setting produce a perfect breeze as you need at different time of the day. The small fan moves the more air than a traditional ceiling fans. The remote control is useful as you can control the fan speed and turn on or off the lights. You can use the light and or the fan as needed. I purchased this unit for my son’s bedroom and it looks great and works great. This is a stylish light/fan fixture and the black and stylish frame fits perfect with any room decoration.The remote requires a 23A 12 volt battery. It’s not expensive but it’s not a very common size. Kind of a pain to open the box and be ready to set it up and have to chase down a battery. If you want this fan best to order the battery, too. :-)Great fan get itEven though the fan was listed as easy to install, I had a certified electrician to install it. It ran fine for a few days. The air flow does not go throughout the room. You have to basically be right under the fan to f eel the effects. After a few days, the cap fell off the fan. I turned the fan off and then the "blade" (plexiglass?) fell out as well. The paperwork said to email Casenke if I had any problems within the 2-year warranty, but there was no email address listed. I called Amazon who tried to find information but was told that Casenke's site was blockedThe only problem we have is setting up the Bluetooth on our phones…
