These chairs are very well made and easy to assemble. They are delivered as two parts: the seat and the base which are held together by four screws with washers and lock nuts. A Hex Key is provided as well as a spare set of hardware (one set for each chair). Packaging is very good and the box is unusually heavy weight. They're comfortable to sit in and have a nice look for both indoor and outdoor use. This model (Darleen) with the diamond pattern on both back and seat should drain well when used out-of-doors. It is more expensive than some similar chairs by the same manufacturer with the main difference being the smaller perforated diamond pattern that extends through the seat area. It was this feature that caused us to select them for our use where we intend to use them as dinning chairs both inside and outside. The photo shows them inside with our Ikea dinning table
