I would have bet money that these would have been broken in the shipping process. They are INCREDIBLY HEAVY. But no, they were so well packed...not a speck of damage. Not a dent on the shades, not a chip on the crystal.You really CAN tell the difference between real crystal and 'acrylic/plastic'. The sparkle and clarity are great. The edges of the crystal base are softly rounded. (No sharp edges) The shade is expensive looking.Just stunning. So much so, my daughter 'stole' them for her bedroom side tables!!! LoL.
