UPDATE - Once I contacted the customer service via email, they asked for the order number and a couple of photos so they could see the issue, then issued a refund and didn't require the product to be returned. So, no shipping hassles to deal with like trying to get them back in the box. They have product issues, but they have the nicest and quickest customer service I have dealt with in years. That is why I added more stars. The holes in the support for the top do not line up with the holes in the top. So much so that I will most likely drill new holes in the metal supports to line up with the top. I didn't expect great pieces, but I did expect them to go together correctly. I will be reaching out to the customer service email:
[email protected] to see what they say but not sure I really want to wait for them to reply and possibly send new parts. Not only would I be sitting here with 2 unusable tables, but then I would have to take them apart to replace with new parts. This product was just what I needed but you may want to get another lamp shade. I happened to have a leftover shade much nicer and sturdier than the one that came with this floor lamp. I love the swivel lamp and the sturdy metal frame. The plugs-ins are a nice feature!Absolutely perfect and seems good and sturdyEasy assembly. Light is bright. A 3-way lamp would be more useful. Price is right.Lamps and tables both look great! Well made and add a nice accent to our room. I had an electrical issue with one of the lamps and contacted customer service. They walked me through troubleshooting it, and after no luck they sent a replacement! Will order again! Each table top has 4 pre-drilled holes to connect to the legs. None of the predrilled holes matched up, so was unable to use all 4 screws. I had taken everything out of the box and had lined up ready to assemble, when had to leave for a minute, so decided to go ahead and burn box while I was out. Now I have 2 tables that are actually pretty nice, but the tops are not attached as they should be. Can't return because I jumped the gun and burned the box, not to mention I didn't realize the lamp shades were still in the box. ???♀️Went together with ease and is actually sturdier than I expected looks pretty good too. Would be a five star if the lamp post was fully painted they missed a spot that just has over-spray (I'm just calling it the "distressed patina" look), its not really noticeable. Assembly is quite easy but here's a few tips for those less mechanically inclined.Step 1 insert the adjustable push in feet first making sure that the are screwed in snug so they don't bend or break while tapping them in. Also don't fully tighten the cross bars yet, leaving them slightly loose will make aligning the holes in the table top easier and help square the cross bars to the table top.Step 2 ensure the cord moves freely in the post before tightening to avoid twisting.Step 3 install the shelf first being careful to not over-tighten the screws which will lead to stripping the holes in the fiber board. Place the table top on the cross and Install the screws don't tighten until all of the screws are installed and the table top is adjusted to your liking. After the table top is secured and adjusted fully tighten the cross bar bolts.I believe the lamp shade is the same diameter on both ends but on mine it seemed slightly concave. Install the bottom hoop first if it doesn't fit try it on the other side. This kind of furniture always loosens over time, save one of the hardware bags and put the tools and extra hardware into it then tape it to the underside of the table top. It'll be easy to find in the future when you need to tighten up the table.Easy to assemble…however, had to extend the threaded rod that was inside the pole so that the nut could be tightened, there wasn’t enough extended for the nut to grab onto,….seems sturdy enough….did not get the Edison bulb, got an LED but I contacted the company and they will send me the proper bulb. I was told that the company randomly chooses either the LED or Edison to ship with the table lamp. I suggested that they should state that in the description. Also, the “cheapo” shade that comes with it was white, not the nice warm color you see online. I was told when I turn the light on, the shade will turn a warm yellow. Nope, it was white as snow and did not turn. It also had a small stain on it. So I went to Lowe’s and bought this replacement shade you see in the photo. I’m still giving it four stars because I needed something to fit in this odd space in my LR and this fit the bill. The usb outlets are a bonus…I like them. All in all with a few tweaks, I’m happy with the lamp.
