Honestly, i had very low expectations and i was expecting these chairs to feel cheap, be short, or break during assembly. No joke these chairs are great. The cushion had perfect padding in that its firm enough to hold its shape but soft enough to sit for hours. The wood back support honestly feels like real wood (im not sure if its real or not), its not hollow on the inside and has nice weight to it. The color is literally beautiful, no flaws or chips from shipping and i heard the driver slam the box outside (it weighs a lot to be fair). so if youre looking for reassurance to purchase, take it from me, buy them! no need to spend $500 on the all modern or west elm chairs.
