This table and company both are fantastic. I received the table timely. At no fault of the company’s it was severely damaged by UPS when shipped. The product was shipped so well I didn’t think there was damage at first, but it did end up having damage that made the table planks not line up. I contacted the company and after they got to my ticket (10ish business days) they set me up with a new table. The replacement was there 5 days after they closed my ticket. Now that it is put together, it is extremely sturdy and a great height. I’d buy this again.Assembly was pretty easy, quality of materials was to be expected for the price, overall finished product was better than expected. My girlfriend and I were looking for tables locally all over the place but all of them were well over $600. So we started looking online and stumbled upon this table which had a similar appearance to the ones we were looking at in stores but a much cheaper price. With a fair amount of hesitance we ordered it. And overall, we're pretty impressed with the finished product.I will say that the finish added to everything from the legs to the top of the table is rather poor and very easy to scratch. So we went to home Depot and picked up some triple thick clear coat and applied two layers on top of our table. It definitely gives it a very shiny appearance, we used gloss probably should have used matte finish instead, however, it prevents any further scratches on our tabletop. My biggest gripe about this table is I wish the bottom legs were made out of the metal. The black finish is nice and gives them the appearance of metal but they are so easy to scratch. And within a few days it was already looking pretty bad. Luckily a black sharpie who looks pretty similar to the original paint, and the three layers of gloss clear coat now protects them. But I would be willing to pay a little bit more to get a metal frame instead of the wood frame.P.S. sorry about the messy table in the pictures, was uploading in a hurry.Pros:—super fast delivery from Amazon. I ordered it on April 21 and got it April 25; 2 days earlier than scheduled.—only very minor damage to the box; one dent that didn’t break through the box. The material was packaged well. No damage internally.—relatively easy to assemble. The pieces are labeled so just follow the instructions (which were not included in my box). They give a hex tool, but you’re better off using a ratchet tool because you’ll be twirling that hex tool forever because there were SO many screws to insert.—I have mixed feelings about the “look”. As others have said, it’s definitely “rustic” and there are visible intentional scrapes to achieve this look. It is not a “smooth” surface, FYI.Cons:— No instructions were included in my box. I emailed the vendor right away and got a standard response a few hours later (after I already assembled the table).— I found the instructions online on Overstock.com’ s website. Just do a google search. The manufacturer doesn’t have the instructions for this table on its website; not sure why since I found it online?— the main issue I have is that some of the boards have warped. When you bolt/screw it together, it sort of comes together and straightens out. When I screwed the legs/base onto the table top, I was unable to get one section of dowels to fit into it’s corresponding holes. The length of the base boards shrink enough that it was probably 1/8” off. I didn’t want to muscle it into place for fear of cracking a board. In the end, I screwed the section in place and ignored the dowels.— The table top is composed of 3 pieces. I screwed it together and it doesn’t lay flat; a bit warped. I played with tightening and loosening the screws to allow it to flatten, but it doesn’t. Visibly, you can see the slant of one of the top planks. I guess it adds to the “rustic” look. All in all, you get what you pay for. It seems sturdy enough so we’ll see how it holds up over time. I don’t love it, but it serves its purpose and looks decent.I like this table but I thought the legs was in metal or iron and came as wood . I think I didn’t read the products description right .One of the slabs does not lay flat like the other ones so it creates an uneven surface. It's nice a table, but wood got cracked while we assembling it. Top part is not that strong so you have to be careful when you assemble the top part. This table has a lot of parts and pieces however its a great piece! Large and sturdy!Firstly, mine arrived damaged and the manufacturer had no replacement parts available. Amazon offered a partial refund which I accepted in order to get materials to repair it and spend some time fixing it. Once repaired and assembled, it's a fair deal. Nice looking, but not super solid. If you're handy, you could buy a metal leg set, some stain and the lumber from Home Depot or Lowe's and build one that's much better quality for about the same price. It might not have as much character as the distressed look of this table, but it'll be tough. I'll probably end up doing that at some point but for now this one works well enough.Assez nul comme produits table craquer et manque 3 trucs qu'on visse voir photo
