After remodeling my home I was shopping for lamps throughout the Seattle area, and was shocked at the poor quality and high prices of the lamps I was seeing. I stumbled upon the Safavieh, and took the plunge after seeing this red foo dog lamps marked down (I'm a sucker for a foo dog anything). After seeing the red foo dogs I also saw the white and purchased both, and I can't say which ones I love more. Anyway, these lamps are stunning in red, or white, and are extremely well made. The lamps are heavy, with a solid wood base, and the foo dogs are made of ceramic not a cheap plastic. They look absolutely stunning. Even the cord for the lamp is wrapped in a type of protective fabric, and not just your run of the mill plastic lamp cord. I will be purchasing lamps from this company again and again - beyond impressed with their product. Shipping time was incredibly fast, and items were very well packed.
