I thought it as a bit pricy, and some of the instructions were not quite English, but the lamp was easy to assemble, and it feels quite sturdy. It puts out a nice, warm, not overpowering light, which was what I was looking for on my screened in porch. I am hopeful the open design of the lampshade will prove less susceptible to being knocked over by wind compared to other lamps. The silicone ring and bulb shield were already in place, despite the instructions indicating I'd have to install those.
