Great chair for the price. The chairs were easy to assemble and extra pieces, which was a nice touch. The only issue I had was that the color was darker an anticipated. I have a Christopher Knight table with light oak wood, and ordered these Christoper Knight chairs thinking that light oak would be light oak…They do compliment the table so no need to return. For the price, not a bad purchase.Very disappointed when we found several areas of damage, these areas obviously were present prior to stain & finish because they were stained over. Check closely for dented, chipped, cracked & poorly finishedareas in the wood. Other than that, the chair looks great, is comfortable & sturdy.Assembly was of average difficulty & pieces fit nicely.Wood is softer than expected but not as soft as pine. Overall quality is a little above average.Just beware of damaged areas obviously ignored when inspectedAfter 14 months I’ve had two break while guests sat in them. Both were at the back end where the legs joint into the seat and back. For the price the quality is fine but just don’t expect them to last too long. It's solid wood, made in Vietnam. I liked the easy assembly and solid wood. The packaging is nice; however, there are a lot of small areas where the paint didn't cover Underneath the paint, also a lot of dings and blemishes. Assembly was fairly easy, except a couple screws would require power tools (the bar under wasn't pre-drilled). I will keep them, but can see refinishing work in the future. These were a little awkward to put together until you get the hang of it, but they were overall not that bad and are great chairs. The look good and are very sturdy.Dining chairLove these chairs. I order a set of four, two of the four arrived today. Hopefully the other two will artive soon!
