I don't have the glass on mine yet because I need someone to help with that, but putting together the table was very easy, even for one person. Glass tables in general worry me. I have broken one in the past but this glass is thicker than the one I had before. The finish is very nice for the price. You could always add a spray-on clear coat if durability is a problem in your house. It's a nice modern look. I do have to mention one thing about my particular order and the company. The first package I got contained pieces that were badly scratched and dented on the edges and two of them were cracked. It could have happened in shipping although they pack extremely well. The good thing is the company was incredibly easy to deal with and very quick at replacing what was needed. I can't say enough good things about them. It's probably the best customer service experience that i remember. One more thing, if you're expecting this to be like a $1,000 table, it's not. The finish isn't at that level. On the other hand it is worth way more and it's value is far better than what it cost and what I expected. By the way, the ad said espresso for the color. The Box said cappuccino. Actual color is black. That was actually what I wanted but you should know it's definitely black.
