EDIT: was shipped a replacement tabletop and now it is actually a functioning table!Contacted Seller after glass tabletop came to me as a ball of shrapnel. After a bit of a mishap with my phone they were able to verify with pictures and sent out a replacement right away. 5 Stars for customer service at least. The actual product, or what I am able to put together and assemble and use without an actual tabletop, is a tad strange when you are analyzing it, though the actual aesthetic of the product is quite nice and fits my decor nicely. Modernistic, yet minimal, black goes with anything pretty much, and glass you cannot go wrong with as long as it is still in one piece. I was slightly worried the chair legs would be a bit weak due to the fact that they looked quite skinny in the pictures, but they are solid metal and hold quite well with what we've done with them so far. Same goes for the table, everything here down to the bolts is made of solid metal, and it all has a glossy black finish. Cushions are standard faux leather with little foam pads inside. Not meant to be the most comfortable chairs in the world, but then again they are dining chairs, they are not meant to be used for hours upon hours of use, so they suffice.Putting it together is another story. When I opened the package, aside from finding the Glass tabletop smashed into a thousand pieces (Likely courtesy of UPS due to the fact this is far from the first time I recieved blatantly damaged products under their care), each metal piece was filled with strange little sand-like rocks or whatever. Filings I assume, though they did not come off of the pieces I had received. Spent some time vacuuming/shaking them out so they wouldn't drive me insane with the little river stick sound-effect they had so adorably built in.At least one bolt on each of the chairs REFUSED to go in correctly and I had to force most of them at an odd angle to begin with, though eventually they did tighten and made a solid hold and frame.I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting with the seat cushions, I mean I guess maybe some bolts and threading to accommodate them. Instead you get regular screws and need to line up the cushion and puncture your own holes in the wooden board at the bottom of each of them. Which, while strange, wasn't difficult with just a screwdriver for me, though I can see someone less physically capable having a bit of trouble with that. Not certain if that was just a fluke of the one I got or not.The table part requires some pretty big bolts to hold it in and would benefit greatly from an extra pair of hands. And a Hex wrench set of your own, since the one I received with the table package did not fit the bolts (Fortunately I had bought a set earlier this year since those things can be so awfully annoying when you dont have them at your disposal right away). But with some help the legs went in smoothly and made a solid foundation. All in all not a bad table for a sale price of 170 bucks or so. Not the most glamorous way to put furniture together, thats for certain, but not a bad finished product. It looks very nice, at least.I LOVE this piece! I have a 2 bedroom for one person. For one person and a couple of friends over, its perfect.Everything is made from sturdy construction. The screws and bolts not only were easy to use, but are designed to make this furniture sturdy!Everything arrived in exceptional packaging and they were manageable separate packages that arrived at the same time.Putting it all was a breeze. Really, I cant recommend this enough if you are looking for a small dining room set that is all class and functionality! You cant really go wrong with metal and glass. If you like this "modern" style, then for 200 or under, you certainly will not go wrong with this!Unbeleivable how bad is the quality!First problem was when I wanted to assemble it. The screw holes were not aligned. But shockingly, is the top glass.I have never seen a glass to scratch ao easily. Even sliding a cup, will scratch it deeply. It also fills up with fingerprints easily, and does not clean easily, even with glass cleaner.I have the pictures. The only reason I have not returned the item is that I do not have time to disassemble it and return it.Very cheap material not worthed 50.00I like it. Very good product by the price you pay
