I like this desk! I was concerned about reviews that mentioned it being overpriced, but after a couple of trips to home goods and the local furniture warehouse looking at super crappy desks priced even higher, I came back to this one. I’m glad I did! It’s Perfect for my space and even though it is “just a piece of wood”, it’s a nice one. I do wish it was just a bit thicker, but it’s definitely not thin. Real wood desks are pricey, so after looking at what’s out there in stores, I don’t feel this is overpriced at all.Yes, you could probably make one from Home Depot for cheaper, but that would require stain, sanding, tools to cut to size, etc.
