Cheap made, hard to install.Won’t align.Buy one similar from Costco, figured this is just another cheap China made junk. This item arrived without damage. Mounting of the base requires two persons, as I struggled to keep it flat against the ceiling while installing. It is a fairly large ceiling light. The illumination is bright and the fixture looks very contemporary. Although, the description says "non-dimmable", for the MSRP, it should be a built-in feature, especially for an LED light. Hence, the 4/5 rating. So I donked around and made mine smarter! I used a Tuya wifi relay, and now it's wifi controllable! Was unable to make it dimmable tho =/ See, normally I'd stick in a single color wifi LED strip controller, but this thing... It has 3 ac/dc converters in it, all putting out pretty high voltage, whereas the highest voltage wifi LED strip controller I got is 28 volts. All that to say, unless you're like me and get off on voiding warranties, don't try that at home! The warm white is a nice mellow tone, good for chilling, not so much for working. I love that the rings are adjustable tho! Makes me feel like I'm about to give a lecture on electron valences or something =) Sciency!Came with all the hardware needed, and the directiions were easy to follow. Installation wasn't too bad, it's not very heavy, and has those twist-lock sort of holes on it, where you just slide it on to the screws, turn it to secure, then tighten down the screws. Makes it much simpler to install by yourself! Which yes, as a girl at about 5' 4" and 150 lbs, I got this thing installed by myself pretty simply. Meaning that if I can, anyone should be able to ♥For the price...this thing adds a touch...no, it adds a great big dollop of post-retro-futurist elegance and playful refinement to any space you can think of. I can think of no better way to totally change the vibe of a room for this price (about $250 tax and all at time of writing)! Fits nicely with the mashed up aesthetic my home has...raver princess + glitzy upper crust + mad scientist...but still classy enough to be at home in any normal sane person's home too!I like it because it is different and good qualityToo modern, I love it, good buyThis is a unique looking light fixture for sure, and it's really cool that you can adjust the arms to make a variety of different abstract shapes. But realize: this is bright-white LED and it's not exactly the type of lighting that you might feel comfortable with at home. If you've got a room where you want some super illumination then you won't be disappointed---you could practically perform surgery under this fixture.Install was the usual: simple if you are experienced with DIY projects (instructions on attached photo). Once you have the ceiling plate mounted, you can "hang" the fixture from one of the screws while you make the wiring connections. Once the electrical is done, the whole fixture slips over 4 screws on the ceiling mount, twist into position, then tighten the screws.super solid and well made lighting. Very easy to put together and not to hard to hang, but it is large, so if doing it alone steady it with another ladder. It goes very nicely in a living room or bedroom and has a modern look to it. It comes with clear instructions for anyone that is doing this for the first time. The only issue I would see is making sure you put the right pieces where they need to go, before tightening it down. Very nice Price for the quality. Love it, Highly Recommend.Great quality and very well made light. Hung this in the spare bedroom and was very easy to assemble and hang. I did use a second later to stable it while I attached all the wires and is is fairly light, but large and an awkward shape. Very modern and looks very good in a bedroom or living room area. It is bright, but can be mounted to a dimmer switch to make it have a warmer glow to it. Very good price for the nice quality too. Highly Recommend.
