Weird to say, but my kitchen really didn't feel complete until I added this bad boy in the corner under my garbage can. I recently replaced my kitchen rugs to go with a different color theme, but needed one more small, square-shaped rug for under the garbage can and to hide a small spot of our laminate wood flooring that's peeling up. This little rug was perfect for that job. It has a very low pile so the trashcan sits flush on it with no tipping, and it smoothed out and laid flat almost immediately. Plus it just looks really nice! This rug is not black . It’s black and gray actually I would say it’s gray with blackVery thin and no cushion but looks niceGreat rug. I actually use in the bathroom for getting out of shower/tub. Easy to clean and dries quickly.Well made seems to be of higher quality than any other of the other outdoor rugs I've seen listed. It's much better than the last one I bought for $100 on Amazon, but I guess you get what you pay for.Fits perfectly under our fire ring to protect the floor. Had it for months, holds up to vacuuming.I like the rug for $24 (5'x5'), but not anymore than that. The seam was coming apart when I received it.My wife loves purple and it was a little hard to tell from the small photo on Amazon how purple it would be. But it is distinctively so, without being overwhelming. The construction is also good and it lays down flat very well.UPDATE: the seller has fixed the issue by offering a partial refund which I was satisfied with.So received the area rug super fast, the rug was what I was expecting. However the picture I purchased this rug off of clearly shows a BLACK edging on the rug, which is what I wanted, the dark grey rug I have received has a TAN edging on it. Free returns is not an option, so I guess I am keeping it, but why on earth put a tan edge on this one, and if this is the case then the picture needs to be updated.
