This light is beautiful. I am so impressed and so amazed by the quality of this light for the price. It is very large and substantial looking, but it is not heavy. The material is lightweight and sturdy. Like others have mentioned, it has kind of a brownish black hue with white sparkling that you can only notice if you were up close and if it is hanging lower. Mine does hang low so people will notice, but I actually really like that and I like the way it blends with the other fixtures in my home. This light is beautiful. It would be gorgeous in a tall entryway, over a dining table, in a master bedroom, Or a grand hallway. It is absolutely gorgeous! Very bright and looks lovely at all stages of dimming. We bought this light to update the fixtures in our home in case we decide to move in a year or two, and I am convinced I will buy the fixture again for our new house. It is beautiful!
