The table is nice, sturdy, and has a better quality finish than I was expecting. Chairs are pretty easy to put together, but I do have a few comments about them. 1) One of the chairs had a half inch long wood splinter and a random piece of different color fiber caught in the weave of the fabric. Fortunately, I was able to pull the foreign items out of the weave with no damage. 2) The front of one of the chair backs also had a small stain (About 1/8" to 3/16" diameter) which was quite noticeable and unacceptable. I wanted to set up the table/chair set right away at my mother's new assisted living apartment, so I tried to clean the stain myself. Fortunately, after about 30 minutes of careful effort with fabric cleaner and peroxide, I was able to get the stain out such that nobody other than me would likely know it was there, but I should not have had to do this. Better quality control inspections are obviously needed at the manufacturer. 3) Lastly, the chairs are comfortable, but the cushions are a bit too soft in my opinion, and you sink lower than expected. A firmer foam with more support would be appreciated, and would also have helped my mother, because with her bad knees, the additional effective chair height with a firmer foam would make it easier for her to get i and out of the chairs.Last Note; I wish the set was offered in a mid-tone brown stain lighter than the dark mahogany.
