Sturdy and attractive. Assembly although not terribly time consuming took some thought as directions were not thoroughly clear. However, if I didn’t have my own socket ratchet it would have been nearly impossible.It is more brass washed over black. My guess is both the thin brassy paint and black will not withstand outdoor New England weather over time but is easily renewed with outdoor spray paint. Good value.
