It needed 2 people to complete the last part attaching top to the bottom thsat was not added to instructions until you turn to the last pagethe good: simple design. Fairly easy to install. Good for the priceThe bad: two pieces came with scratches. The worst part if that one of the pieces was the table top. Actually it doesn't look like a scratch. it look like the paint didn't cover one of the corners (see photos0. It's very noticeable since it's the top of the table. Also the instructions (pictograms) are missing few steps. All things considered, this table was fairly easy to build. Getting the top to attach was tricky, but it worked out just fine. I live in a small apartment and don’t have space for a desk, so this was perfect. The lift top runs fairly smoothly, and is at just the right height for me to work from my couch. The table top is big enough for my laptop, a textbook, and a snack. It also makes a lovely coffee table. I regret nothing about this purchase!Went back and forth on this table after reading the reviews. It seemed perfect my gaming room were I also use a laptop quite often. Came out impressed. I am an IKEA veteran, so assembly was fairly easy, just the springs gave me a bit of trouble. I found this table surprisingly sturdy and light enough to move around. The lifting function does take a bit of effort, but for me was not that big of an issue and is pretty smooth. The storage area is perfect for keyboards, remotes, and controllers. The lower shelf fit my Arcade Legends Mini joystick perfectly. Overall I am extremely happy. Some of the instructions took a little guess work. But I managed to get it together. Its nice and sturdyI work from home so the lift table helps. Also, my nieces and nephews loves that they can lift up and eat on the table. Perfect height for them.
