I bought two covers eight months ago, well aware that the warranty would be next to meaningless, but I couldn't find any other covers that were close to fitting my old Tropitone furniture without being way too big, so I figured that at least these might last for three years. For the most part, the covers have served well, though in light of other reviews I've tried to baby them as much as possible. But yesterday, fearing a rainshower followed by dust, I put this cover on our table+chairs, then attempted to snug the fit by tightening the draw cord that runs around the entire bottom hem. Unbelievably, the cord broke! Did a squirrel chew on it, or what? Nope, turns out that a second pull caused it to break again -- both sides! In fact, I easily broke the cord twice more with mere finger strength. This cord has hardly been out in the sun, but it obviously has not only no UV protection but no quality whatsoever. I've had kite string that was stronger than this. Clearly, KoverRoos compromised on quality here, and now I'll have the annoying task of threading 20' of a new and decent cord through the hem. Caveat emptor!
