Nice lamps, just wish they had more lamp shade options (colors). Very bright, nice size and two for that price was very reasonable.I love the base, but not the shade. It has one of those ill-designed shades where the metal rods are not just at the top, so you see the rods through the shade. Looks horrible, and doesn't look like it would be easy to switch it to a traditional shade. Plus you can't have a finial. Anyway I just repacked it up in the box and will probably store it in the garage for about 20 years before donating it to Goodwill. I would return it, but had removed the plastic wrap so I could see what it looked like put together. It doesn't look good. If the shade was the traditional style I would like this. The bulb is really small too, though that's not a big deal.Nice navy color
