This is a really nice chandelier for the price although I had to embellish it a bit.1. As many reviewers mentioned previously, the cord is black which makes no sense at all. Prior to assembling the fixture, I painted the cord white and then rubbed some brown stain on it. It’s no longer noticeable.2. The ceiling mount, chain, arms, and the pieces that go under the bulbs were white with grey and peach colored flecks. Not cute. I also rubbed my brown stain on them. They look much better and now match more with the color of the main unit.3. The bulb holder pieces are too short so the metal part of the base of the bulb is exposed. We had some copper piping the same size and cut some small pieces (about 1/4 inch) to put in first as a spacer. The bulb holder pieces now sit higher up and hide the bottom of the bulbs.The chandelier is hanging on our bedroom. It has a beautiful French country look to it.
