Ordering dining chairs, my priority was good-looking chairs at a good price. I ordered these because they looked really nice in the photo and were a great deal at $60 for two (I got four). Assembled, they look just like the photo! Such a relief! And they seem sturdy, though I have only had them for a week. Overall, they are very pretty pieces of furniture, and I was pleased that the materials were good quality (real wood, nice finish, nice suede-type material for the cushion fabric) even though they are being offered at such a low price.Biggest annoyance: assembly. And this isn't even that bad. It's just that there are eight hex-head screws per chair, and not enough space to turn the hex key all the way around. So I had to do half-turns then reset, which took me forever! I tried starting them by hand, but again the space issue made that difficult. It took me two hours to assemble all four chairs :( But any furniture that has to be shipped will probably require assembly, so this isn't a huge issue. And at least all of the pieces fit together really well, unlike some other (metal) furniture I've bought in the past.More minor issue is that the delivery was slower than I'm used to from Amazon, because Amazon doesn't handle it. The chairs were shipped on the last day of the estimate, and didn't arrive (in Berkeley, CA) for another week! Perhaps I was just impatient because they are so pretty and I was without dining chairs :)
