I bought this for my kitchen after looking at a zillion rugs for just the right color combo. I thought it would be the typical low-pile, pretty-but-work-horse type of carpet I'm used to from this firm. Well, if I'd had any idea how nice it actually is I would not have chosen this for the kitchen! As it is, it is there, and gorgeous, (and cleanable materials, thank you) and the cat is very happy I put a large pillow on the floor where the 'food lady' goes. Truly, it is gorgeous, deep, dark red and blue with rich brown and accents. Looks wonderful with wood floor. Looks like I spent WAY more than I did. Very happy with purchase.
