The rug was perfect size and color. We just had the inside of our house painted and it matches perfectly.Gift for grand daughter who LOVES it!I was very nervous about ordering another shag rug, because the pile is either too short and therefore too thin or they are so shaggy that they are impossible to vacuum. This one strikes the perfect balance. Vacuums really well (dyson) and is seriously soft. The color was just as described. My only complaints are that it is so dang hard to find a rug that is truly 8 x 10. They are always 3 or 4 inches shy. This one is no exception. The rug I received was also missing the last row or two of shag on one edge, so there is an ugly exposed edge on one side. Luckily for me, that edge is under furniture.Color exactly as described. Very soft and plush, feels great underfoot. There was no odor and no shedding. Compared to the Athens rug by this same manufacturer, this is a better value.I love these carpets. They are thick, soft and so nice to walk on!Disliked- the shag--very rough to touch and sparsely woven- Liked another model from same company-Venice shag-over 2 inches thick and very soft--shed a bit-but it's new...
